Detailed 4 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari ( 2 Treks) – Gorilla Trekking

Day 1: Kigali, City tour & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport , you will be picked up by Gorilla Trekking Tour guide, offer you simple orientation about the trip and start on Kigali city tour with stop over at coffee shops for taste of African Coffees and later proceed to visit the genocide ( Gisozi genocide memorial) craft shop and local market.  Head for hot meal ( Lunch)  and later proceed to volcanoes National Park via the undulating thousand hills of Rwanda. Dinner and overnight at Virunga Lodge/ Amakoro Songa Lodge / Bisata Lodge or One and only gorilla nest.  Meal plan: H/B

Day 2: Gorilla tracking-  Optional visit to Gorilla Guardian Village

Have a lovely breakfast in the morning and proceed to the headquarters for briefing about the gorillas and meeting the park rangers. The experience is exhilarating as you get ready to hike through the jungle in search for the gorillas you will see them in groups as they do their daily routine work, mothers feeding their young ones, playing, feeding and some resting you will be required to switch off your flash as you take pictures. Trekking the gorillas may take from 1 to 8 hours depending on their movements.

After go for Ibyi’wachu cultural village, they perform Kinyarwanda dance and songs. You will be excited as they demonstrate Kinyarwanda culture. Return back to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Mountain gorilla view lodge: Meal plan full board

Day 3: Second Gorilla Trekking –  Optional Visit the Twin Lakes.

Day 4. Golden Monkey Tracking- Departure

Have breakfast early morning and proceed for golden monkey tracking, this is another existing activity Prior to meeting the golden monkeys; you will see other primates, fauna and flora. Finally get face to face with the beautiful golden monkeys. You will see them play as they jump from one branch of tree to the other all this will be fun and memorable for your African adventure tour. After lunch drive back to Kigali. Proceed to the airport for your departure flight.
